Newmarket, NH

Newmarket is located in Rockingham County, New Hampshire with a population of just under 9,000. Some residents are students and employees at the nearby University of New Hampshire in Durham. Beginning with the first cotton textile mill in 1823, the Newmarket Manufacturing Company dominated the mill town's waterfront and economy with seven textile mills harnessing water power at the falls.

Located along Great Bay, Moody Point is a luxury living community of single family homes and condominiums.

This videos below show the beautiful views of Great Bay from various locations in the neighborhood. Great Bay is a great place to go kayaking, and storage for canoes and kayaks is provided for Moody Point property owners.

This completely remodeled condo sold in the fall of 2012.

Newmarket has a rich history and many old photos of the town have been collected by the Newmarket Historical Society. Thanks to the hard work of town resident and Society member, John Carmichael, the photos have been made available on the Society's website.
